Each Coastal Handbag is individually crafted from cleaned and cut non-viable oyster cages. Due to the industrial nature of this reclaimed mesh:

- Easy Care: Built for the elements—scuffs from the beach are easily cleaned.

Shipping & Fulfillment
Handmade to Order: Please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be prepared, packed, and shipped. For Custom orders see confirmation email for fulfillment eta.
Tracking: You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your Atlantic haul is on its way.

Returns & Exchanges
We take immense pride in the durability of our mesh and the quality of our ink. To date, our bags and prints have a 100% satisfaction rate, and we aim to keep it that way.
All Sales are Final: Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of handmade Gyotaku and custom-cut oyster mesh, we do not offer traditional returns or exchanges for "change of mind."
Damage or Errors: In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged during transit or there is a significant error in your order, please contact TheSpicyMonger@Gmail.Com within 48 hours of delivery.
The Nature of Reclaimed Material: Please remember that minor variations in mesh texture or print ink are characteristics of the handmade process and the history of the reclaimed materials—they are not considered defects.

31"x 12" This original Gyotaku print is a direct hand-pressed impression of a Blue Fish, captured at the height of the season. Caught by Me :) while on the F.V Miss Jenn, Block Island.
The Process
Direct Impression: Using the Chokusetsu-ho method, applying non-toxic ink directly to the fish and hand-rubbing the paper to capture every detail—from the sharp curve of the gill plate to the delicate transparency of the fins.
Hand-Picked Species: Every fish is selected for its unique character and structural beauty, ensuring that no two prints are ever identical.
Archival Materials: Pressed onto premium, acid-free paper designed to preserve the deep blacks and subtle greys for a lifetime.
